I picked up a solar filter for the big camera in anticipation of next month’s Eclipse. Here’s a shot of the sun as seen through the filter.
This flower is blooming in one of the front containers. I’m not sure what type it is, but it’s pretty. Paul would know more.
This little guy’s mama is in Europe at the moment, so he’s hanging out at a kennel. It was great having him here for a couple of days last week. Maybe we’ll get to dog-sit again sometime?
These two rarely get along so it’s nice to see them on the bed together. Josephine’s on the left and Timonium is on the right.
Trees are being trimmed around the house to avoid electric lines.
He’s such a good doggie!
We have this little guy for a couple of days while his mom is away. His name is Chewbaca, but everyone calls him Chewy.
Among all the flowers blooming in the garden, these lilies are some of the most stunning.
Our cats enjoy hanging out in the sun in the evenings. And the mornings. And really any time.
It’s Sunday. So here’s a glass of wine on the porch.
This is our cat, Josephine (one of three). We found her wandering around our back yard when we first moved in. She always stuck around so when it started to turn cold outside in the fall, we brought her inside. Now she’s content to stay inside (though she sometimes fights with her brothers). Her name is Josephine in honor of St. Joseph, Mo.
